Creepy Movie Scene of the day: “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”- Leatherface’s chainsaw dance

Despite its grindhouse title, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” endures as one of the all-time great low-rent horror films, a film that has the power to disturb to this day. Unlike its dreadful remake, which relied on stacking violence upon increasing violence in an attempt to force fright, Tobe Hooper’s magnificent original relies more on disquiet, building to a frenzied end. Last year, I analyzed the opening of the film, and how it set the tone for what was to come. Here, I’m just posting its ending for your enjoyment. It has one of  most memorable shots in horror: Leatherface dancing(?) with his chainsaw in the sunrise.
